Precision Backed by Expertise

IMy background is in sports and medical massage, with ten years of experience working with athletes, active professionals, and people managing repetitive strain. Each session starts with what’s bothering you, how you’re moving, and what you want to get back to doing. I combine focused muscle and myofascial work with room to relax, adjusting pressure and technique as we go. You don’t need to know what kind of massage to book—we’ll figure that out together.
-
.Why does it cost what it costs?
60 minutes: $145 · 90 minutes: $195 · 120 minutes: $250
My rates reflect ten years of experience and care tailored to you: discussing what’s going on, choosing an approach, and adjusting the work throughout your session.
Kitsune is a one-person practice. The therapist who learns your history is the one who works with you every visit, so we can build on what helps and change what doesn’t. Membership rates are available for regular visits.

No. You don’t get extra credit for gritting your teeth. Some work can feel intense, but you should be able to breathe comfortably without bracing or enduring it.
Pressure is something we adjust together. Tell me if it feels too much, too little, or simply unpleasant. Gentle work has a place here, too.
-
Start with what’s going on. Tell me where you feel discomfort, what you do for work and fun, and what you’d like from the session.
I’ll ask questions, may check how you move, and suggest an approach. You only need to choose a session length. There’s no massage terminology quiz at checkout.

f you’re not sure, book 90.
60 minutes: One or two focused areas, or a shorter maintenance session.
90 minutes: My usual recommendation for first visits, several areas of concern, or full-body work with extra attention where you need it.
120 minutes: More time for multiple areas, thorough full-body work, or an unhurried session.
Longer isn’t automatically better. Choose what fits your needs, schedule, and budget.
-
No. You don’t need a race on the calendar or a diagnosis. Desk work, long drives, carrying kids, and the demands of everyday life are all welcome reasons to come in.
Wanting to relax and feel better is reason enough to book.
-
You’ll complete an intake and consent form before your appointment. Please arrive [5–10 minutes] early.
We’ll discuss your health history, what’s bothering you, and what you want from the session. I may check how you move before we agree on an approach. Then I’ll step out while you undress to your comfort level and get under the sheet.
During the massage, feedback is welcome: more pressure, less pressure, or skipping an area. Afterward, we’ll check in about how you feel and discuss any useful next steps.
Appointment time is always hands on time; 60 minutes is 60 minutes hands on etc…
-
Yes, when massage is appropriate. Supporting people managing repetitive strain, old injuries, and persistent discomfort is a core part of my practice.
I don’t diagnose medical conditions, and massage has limits. If your symptoms suggest you need a doctor or physical therapist, I’ll say so. I’m also glad to coordinate with your care team.
Please mention recent injuries, surgery, or relevant medical conditions when you book so we can discuss any precautions or need for guidance from your provider.
-
All genders, sexual orientations, races, and body sizes are welcome here. You deserve thoughtful care, respect for your boundaries, and a say in how your session unfolds.
If you have accessibility needs, sensory preferences, or concerns about receiving massage, please reach out. We can discuss what would make your visit comfortable and whether the space and my approach meet your needs.
-
Come in whatever’s comfortable. For the session, undress only to your comfort level; keeping underwear on is entirely fine. I leave the room while you undress and dress. You’ll be appropriately draped throughout, with only the area being worked on uncovered.
Prefer to stay clothed? Wear loose, stretchy clothing and we’ll adapt the work. You can also ask to skip any area, change the approach, or stop at any time.
-
My usual massage oil is an unscented blend of 85% jojoba-based CBD oil and 15% cucumber seed oil. I choose it for its glide and feel on the skin—greasy-for-the-rest-of-the-day isn’t the goal. CBD lotion is also available on request.
Have allergies, sensitive skin, or prefer to avoid CBD? Tell me when you book so we can discuss a suitable option.
-
Frequency depends on your goals, how you respond, and what fits your life and budget. We might try sessions closer together for a specific concern, then space them out as we assess whether they’re helping.

The Foundation: One 60-minute session — [$145/month; confirm rate].
The Elevation: One 90-minute session — $175/month, saving $20.

Kitsune is Japanese for fox. Todd comes from an old word for fox, so there’s a little of me in the name.
Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing pottery with lacquer and powdered gold. The repair becomes part of its beauty, rather than something to hide. I love that idea: something can have a few miles on it and still be worth caring for.
Your body has a history, too—work, adventures, injuries, everyday life. I want to understand what yours has been through and help you feel better doing what you love.
-
It’s a fox. Though if you saw a wolf first, we’re still good.
The fox connects Kitsune to my name, Todd—both mean fox. The gold stripe is a nod to Kintsugi and the idea that our history is something to honor rather than hide. And the blue eye? That’s me, too. Mine are blue. description
